About this Journal
The International Area Studies Review (IASR) strives to cover interdisciplinary scholarly works, focusing on issues contributing to the development of area studies. IASR publishes articles by leading area studies scholars whose views supplement and contest meanings.
IASR is a refereed journal in the field of area studies. It encourages free expression and discussion of different ideas and approaches, which assists in the better understanding of various regions over the world with either qualitative or quantitative methods. The journal aims to represent a wide range of research interests concerning area studies in political science, economics, ethics, sociology, culture, law, arts, and other interdisciplinary works. It welcomes and offers a platform for original research by scholars and research students from a multi-disciplinary perspective in new and emerging areas.
